Building sails is our passion

For us, building and servicing sails is a way of life. For over a decade, we have built sails for some of the most respected lofts on the east coast. From handwork on sails for the Coast Guard's tall ship EAGLE, to dinghy sails, to high-tech string sails, and an array of spinnakers and storm sails, we have done it all.

Our sailing experience includes more than 25 years of cruising from Maine to the Bahamas, and extensive racing in one design, offshore and around-the-buoys events on the Atlantic, Chesapeake Bay and the Great Lakes. We want to share this experience with you to help you make informed decisions that will optimize your budget and sailing pleasure.

Force 10 Sails is a full-service sailmaker ready to:

• Build your high-performance, affordable new sails for racing or cruising. Whether you are racing around the buoys, one design, or offshore, or cruising along the coast or in blue water, Force 10 Sails wants to be your sailmaker.
• Service your current inventory. Our service department can handle any type of inspection, repair or re-cut quickly, affordably and to your complete satisfaction.
• For local customers, install or remove your sails.
• Simply help you think through your sail inventory needs for cruising or racing.

Located in the mid-shore area of the Chesapeake Bay, Force 10 Sails offers convenient drop off and pick up points throughout the region. Our production loft is currently located in Oxford, MD with sales and drop off locations in Easton, Maryland and Rock Hall, MD.
